
Festival Producer
Chi-Chun Chen is a distinguished conductor, saxophonist, and cultural curator, currently serving as the Artistic Director of the Art Pondo Saxophone Ensemble, Festival Producer of the Dutch Harmonies Festival, and Conductor of the Conservatorium van Amsterdam Saxophone Ensemble. A graduate of the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, Chen earned his Master’s degree in classical saxophone in 2022 before pursuing his passion for orchestral conducting under the guidance of esteemed maestros Ed Spanjaard and Antony Hermus.
Renowned for his dynamic artistry and cross-cultural vision, Chen has led international performances and collaborative projects across Taiwan, Europe, and Asia. Under his leadership, the Art Pondo Saxophone Ensemble has been featured at major events such as the Asia Saxophone Congress and the Joint Conservatory Festival in the Netherlands. His artistic philosophy seamlessly blends contemporary innovation, interdisciplinary collaboration, and cultural diplomacy, redefining the saxophone ensemble as not merely a musical format, but a compelling artistic medium capable of conveying profound cultural narratives.
